Our Technical Services division specializes in repairing, rewinding, and refurbishing rotating electrical machines such as transformers, motors, and generators. We operate the region’s largest workshops equipped with state-of-the-art machinery, including in-house coil and magnet wire manufacturing facilities.
Transformers Repair & Rewind
Comprehensive repair, rewinding, and overhauling services for power transformers across a wide voltage and capacity range. Our capabilities cover low- to extra-high-voltage transformers from 231 V up to 230 kV with ratings from 150 kVA to 200 MVA, as well as extra-high-voltage applications up to 380 kV with capacities reaching 200 MVA, delivered in line with international quality and performance standards.
Motors Repair & Rewind
Complete overhauling and rewinding services for low- and high-voltage AC and DC motors, supported by advanced diagnostics and testing. Our facilities are equipped to perform no-load testing for motors rated up to 30,000 HP at 13.8 kV, ensuring reliable performance, safety, and long-term operational integrity.
Generators Repair & Rewind
Comprehensive repair and rewinding services for generators, including full rotor refurbishment, rewinding, testing, and inspection. Our scope also covers exciter rewinding, stator rewinding and refurbishment, as well as bearing and seal repair, ensuring restored performance, reliability, and extended service life.
Magnet Wire Manufacturing
We provide a variety of magnet wires that meet international standards and proudly carry the Saudi Made Gold label, reflecting high local content and manufacturing excellence. Our portfolio includes round enameled wires (fine, medium, thick) ranging from 0.2 mm to 5.5 mm, rectangular wires ranging from 3 mm² up to 80 mm² (all compliant with IEC specifications), in addition to the insulation of rectangular and round conductors with enamel coating, fiberglass, mica, Nomex, or paper-taped/varnish-bonded wires.
Pre-formed Coil Manufacturing
Our advanced forming machines reduce insulation wear on copper conductors, lowering inter-turn short circuits risks and boosting coil durability. Our product line includes resin-rich and vacuum pressure Impregnation (VPI) coils for motors, generators, and other electrical equipment for insulation classes F and H. These coils are suitable for voltages up to 13.8kV and power ratings up to 30,000 HP.
